If I can’t see it, it doesn’t exist, Reader This is why many delicious snacks have expired in my fridge only to be discovered several days/weeks after they ceased being safe to eat 😭 So even though I use Notion for all my business plans and ideas, I still need to physically write the plan down somewhere I can see it otherwise I will forget I made a plan, and I won’t do any of the things on the plan. I used to create an A3 poster and stick it to the inside of my wardrobe, so I could get a reminder of my priorities every morning when I got dressed. Then a few weeks ago I was watching Plur1bus and Carol (who is an antisocial writer and therefore highly relatable for me)… ….Carol has an amazing wall with sliding whiteboards. She slides a wooden panel and behind it are multiple whiteboards to pull out so she can work on her book ideas then slide them away into the wall so nobody else can see them. I did a quick Google to see how I could get my hands on one of these multi-whiteboard sliding systems thingies and they were going to cost me more than a weekend away in a European city, and also I do not have a spare wall in my house so I found a creative budget option. Sticky-backed whiteboard paper…. and now the whole of the inside of my wardrobe door is a whiteboard!!! Here’s the bit featuring my Marketing Gameplan until Easter (things to focus on in my business). How do you remind yourself of the plans and decisions you’ve made? Cheers, Laura P.S. I've had two Unjumble sessions this week with people who needed to make changes to what they're selling, so it fits better with their life. Got a similar situation? Book a one-off 1-1 here. |

I almost had a new blog post to share with you today, Reader I set aside Monday mornings for content creation, and yesterday I drafted two blog posts. With about 90 minutes left until my first 1-1 of the day, I chose one to focus on so I could get it over the finish line and send it to you today. And then an unscheduled phone call came in related to the ongoing saga of securing an educational placement for Son#2. Since dealing with that is #1 on my priority list right now (and has been for...
Welcome to the first weekly wrap of January. In case you missed it: I shared 10 questions to help you write your automated Lead Magnet follow-up emails. And I shared this solution to the 'can't see it, doesn't exist' problem I experience with business plans. Also happening in my world: Bought - a new mattress, and last night slept for 7 hours straight. Turns out the problem was not my body, but the thing that was meant to support my body. Decided - to create a new chalk drawing in my bedroom...
What happens after someone claims your Lead Magnet/s Reader? Lead Magnet follow-up emails can, unintentionally, end up being a bit naggy. If your email includes the phrase 'did you have a chance to look at NAME OF LEAD MAGNET yet?' your subscriber probably feels more harassed than supported. I don't want to write a Lead Magnet Follow-up Sequence template for you because so much depends on how many emails you want to send, what you sell, and your audience. So instead, I created this: 10...
